Not only do we design and create stunning headpieces for all occasions, we also run unique, creative and fun Minx Millinery Events. Join your friends, colleagues or clients for the ultimate fashionista experience and learn how to make your very own headpiece or Ascot-worthy hat.
Pick from our range of couture hat making packages to suit your needs or go bespoke and book a private event tailored to your needs.
These events can be enjoyed alongside a drinks reception, lunch or dinner.
We also provide a selection of added extras to make your day even more special, from make up artist or photographer, to delicious refreshments and afternoon tea.
Our creative events suit all things from corporate and team building days to alternative bridal showers, birthday parties, and press launches.
No prior experience of millinery or sewing is necessary as you will be taken through a variety of traditional millinery techniques by our qualified milliners so you can indulge in the atmosphere whilst we help you create your own masterpiece to take away. Guests will be immersed in beautiful millinery textiles, feathers, fabrics and hat making tricks of the trade which will have you reminiscing for months on end.
Our fun events last between 2- 3 hours with a group of 10 guests recommended but we are flexible and can accommodate a much higher number.
Events take place at a venue of your choice such as a hotel, office, meeting room or your home or you can pick from one of our listed Surrey venues.
Private Tuition
We also offer a range of private hat making classes with head milliner, Charlotte - great for any budding hat designer and creatives who want to learn about the art of hat making! Choose from one of a range of courses such as creating a fascinator, sculptural Ascot-worthy hat, mother of the bride hat or 1940's inspired felt hat.
